    Our first four events at THE ISLAND went extremely well during the first October weekends of 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018.
We expect 2019 to be just as fine. Island management is very friendly and supportive, service & food are great, AV equipment needs and the facilities; All Excellent!

    Speakers/authors/researchers are eager to secure a slot to share their knowledge and seekers are eager to see and hear them.

   We have space for 15-16 speakers, and can seat up to 150.

We have three new speakers and several of our favorites, and some updates on "old" topics:

* Joan Conover who will speak on the Mysterious, Complex, Canals and Earthworks of the Southern Mississippi, and their Connection to Ancient Copper Trade. Her article on similar canals and earthworks in the Amazon was in a recent Ancient American Magazine.

* Jay Wakefield, author-researcher, has been recently to Easter Island and will share some of the latest on The Mysterious Moai Statues.

* Ron Rademacher, will bring us some new analysis and interpretation of the "MacIntosh Stone"

* Dr. Lee Pennington, "The Brandenburg Stone: Ancient American Monument" This is an amazing stone that was found near Brandenburg, KY in 1912 and is one of the more controversial stones in America. It was featured on Scott Wolter's America Unearthed.

* Wayne May, Publisher of Ancient American Magazine and co-sponsor of this event is urged to give us a good over-view of the "Michigan Tablets" aka "Michigan Relics". It's been a long time since we have seen a program on this important collection.

* Dave Gutkowski "Newly Discovered Megalithic Archaeoastronomy Site in North America" (Eastern Pennsylvania). Dave bought the land upon which all this stone treasure lies.

* Rick Osmon, author/researcher always has something interesting to share. Await title of talk.

* Gerard Beaulieau - Found an out of place amphora near his home in Newfoundland and it changed his life. After networking with Lee Pennington and Judy, he has decided to share his research and learn from others.  "How Did a Roman Amphora Get to Newfoundland, and Where are The Red Paint People Today?"

* Larry Corrigan - Larry Corrigan, a professional woods-walker (sawyer) from the Keweenaw, found an object that is changing his life. He'll be sharing to see what you may think about his find: "Queztalcoatl in the Keweenaw?"

* Karl Hoenke - topic to come

* Lon Kreiger
- topic to come

* Steve Spyrison - topic to come
